Thomas Vincent McLaughlin, III, died suddenly in San Joaquin, Costa Rica on April 21^st, 2026. He was raised in Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania and attended Salesianum School in Wilmington, DE and later Penn State University in State College, PA. He worked as a Logistics Supervisor at McDonalds, but most of his life he was an entrepreneur and owned Lefty’s Bar and Restaurant in Marcus Hook, PA.

Tom loved to play softball and was a member of various baseball and softball leagues throughout his entire life, including at Lefty’s. He also loved to travel both inside and outside the United States, whether on planes or cruise ships.

He was predeceased by his father and mother, Thomas V. McLaughlin Jr. and Rosemary McLaughlin who both died in 2023. Tommy is survived by his son, Aidan Thomas McLaughlin (Brianna). He is also survived by his sisters, Shawn McLaughlin, Erin McLaughlin, and Shannon McLaughlin; brother, Brian McLaughlin.

His funeral mass will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 North Providence Road, Media, PA 19063. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in church. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
