Karen Jankowski (née Bishop), age 78, of Chester, PA, passed away peacefully
surrounded by family on October 5, 2026.
Karen was born and raised in Chester, PA and spent most of her life there. She was
a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. In her spare time,
she enjoyed bowling, sewing and baking. Karen also enjoyed spending time with
her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also very present in the lives of
her sister Ethel’s daughters, Shannon, Carrie and Holly and offered her love and
support after their mother had passed.
Karen is survived by her husband Stanley Jankowski; her children, Kelly Allen,
Karen Maltese (Phil), Joseph Ferguson, Jr. (Kathrin) and Erica Coulbourn; her
grandchildren, Elizabeth, Edward, Ava, Samantha and Spencer; and her brother,
Barry Bishop. In addition to her parents, John and Rose (D’urbano) Bishop, Karen
was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Graffus and her brother, Richard Bishop.
Funeral and burial are private, but donations may be made in Karen’s memory to
the American Cancer Society.
