Karen’s strength was tested again when she received a lung transplant in 2017. The transplant gave her six strong years and precious additional time with the people she loved. Throughout the health challenges that followed, she endured far more than many around her ever knew. She carried much of her pain privately and even during her own struggles continued to concern herself with the needs and well-being of others.
Throughout every chapter of her life, it’s joys, adventures, challenges and hardships, Karen’s love for her family remained constant and so too did her faith. She remained steadfast in her faith in Christ through her final days, drawing strength and hope from the beliefs she carried throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter Megan Zallie and her husband Jason and her son Devin Walsh and his wife Daniela Lope. one brother William Paisley and her beloved partner of 20 years Tony Ambrosino.
