Thaddeus “Ted” Boyda

Thaddeus “Ted” Boyda died August 22nd at his home in Chester.  He was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Anne Presz Boyda. Ted was born and raised and attended school in Chester. Pa. As a youth he played baseball for the Chester West little league. Ted was a passionate follower of all the Philadelphia sports teams. He worked many years as an announcer at the WVCH radio station starting in Chester and then in Brookhaven, PA. His coworkers claimed that he had the perfect radio voice and would have made a good play by play announcer. He is survived by numerous cousins. His funeral and burial will be private

  1. I grew up with teddy on meadow lane in buckman village.had a lot of good times playing baseball & basketball.so sorry to hear of his passing.rest in peace my friend.

  2. I am so very sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. We worked together at WVCH and became very good friends. We would meet for lunch every few weeks. I was worried when he didn’t return my calls. Now I know why.
