John J. Mace, III ,25, of Wilmington, DE died on July 7^th, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Wilmington the John J. Mace, Jr. and the late Christina Wanner.  He was a graduate of Concord High School, where he participated on the crew team.  John worked as a swimming pool technician for 7 years and an additional 2 years as a sales assistant.  He enjoyed traveling, especially to Colorado to snowboard.  He also liked spending time at the beach with family and friends.  John loved anything that went fast which spawned his love of NASCAR and going to car shows.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Christina Wanner; aunt, Rosalia Wanner; grandfather, Samuel F. Wanner, III.

He is survived by his grandmother, Maryann Wanner Deery, with whom he made his home and raised him along with the help of his aunt, Maryann Wanner Marte; several step-siblings; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He will be truly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

His memorial service will be held on Friday, July 30 at 7:30pm.  Friends and family are invited to visitation from 6-7:30 at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.
