Jimmie Robert Drummond, 94, of Upper Chichester passed away on Wednesday, November 16th. Jimmie was born on January 16th, 1928 and raised in Broadnax , Virginia. He was a veteran of the US Army with whom he served during the Korean War. Jimmie worked as a chef and also enjoyed cooking and baking in his free time.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Rosalee Drummond. He is survived by his sisters, Nellie Fuller, Thelma Quarles, and Sallie Brodnax; brother, Franklin Drummond; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 10am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 9-10am. Burial will be private. Following the service, a repast will be held at Pescatores Restaurant 1810 Wilmington Pike, Glen Mills, PA.
Farwell uncle Jimmy. You lived a nice full life. I am grateful to have had you as a uncle. Tears of joy,for longevingy. Looking like your brother Sam. I love you rest well.
