Daniel Anthony Shore, Sr., age 93 passed away April 23, 2008 at home. Born and raised in White Haven, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Shore, Mr. Shore resided in Chester for most of his life. He was employed by General Electric in Philadelphia retiring after many years.

He was a longtime member of Resurrection of Our Lord parish in Chester and he volunteered with church repairs and was very devoted to his family.

He is survived by his son Daniel A. Shore, Jr., sisters Julia Richards, Eleanor Fries, and Rose Tutlo, and his former daughter in law and her husband with whom he resided Gloria and Jason Jorge, 1 grand daughter and 1 great grandson.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Elizabeth Shore, parents and siblings Dominic Shore, Anthony Shore, Clara Jullian, Helena Firgone, and Mary Albany.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Monday 10am in Holy Savior Catholic Church, 108 Ridge Rd, Linwood. Viewing Sunday evening 7-9 and Monday morning 8:30-9:30 at Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood PA; burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
