Jesse Ray Gibase – 3/20/2023

March 27th, 2023

Jesse Ray Gibase, 27, of Upper Chichester, Pa passed away on March 20th, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  He was born in Chester to the late Donna Marie Peticca and Ray Gibase.  Jesse was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 2015.  While at Chichester, he attended Vo-Tech studying woodshop and carpentry.  He was a talented carpenter and could build almost anything out of wood.  He was working as the ground foreman for BAC Landscaping.

Jesse liked to ride his dirt bike, enjoyed fishing and going to the beach.  What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends laughing and making memories.  Jesse was one in a million and his time on earth was way too short.  Please don’t be sad for Jesse, instead in his memory and in honor of all those he touched, celebrate his life.  Although Jesse was not able to settle down and start a family as he wanted, in his memory, for those of you that have, please cherish the opportunity because tomorrow is never promised.

He was predeceased by his mother, Donna Marie Peticca; father, Ray Allen Gibase; maternal grandmother, Jane Marie Cummings; uncle, Tony Gibase.

He is survived by his sister, Angelina Williams-Gibase; brothers, Ray Ray Gibase, Jr. and Damien Michael Peticca; aunt, Rhonda Daniels; niece, Ray’Lynn Marie Gibase; paternal grandmother, Janice Taylor; girlfriend, Jamie Zabilowicz; cousins, Joey and Toni Jo Daniels and her children Michael and Vinnie; best friend, Kyle Simmers

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 4th at 7pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa.  Friends and family are invited for viewing and visitation from 6-7pm.  Burial will be private.
