Jennifer Marie Wanner Ward, 55, of New London, PA died Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 at home. She was born in Chester to the late Samuel and Jesse Willard Wanner. She was raised and educated in Chichester where she was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1975. She worked for 17 years as a secretary for Samuel Wanner and Sons Inc. until their closing in 1991.

She served as a past president of the Diamond State German Shepard Club. Jennifer enjoyed outdoor activities, specifically boating on the Chesapeake. She also loved animals, especially horses. She was a long-time participant in equestrian eventing and dressage.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Samuel, George, Thomas and David Wanner. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Edward J. Ward; Brothers, Harry Wanner of Laurel, DE and Mark Wanner of Wilmington, DE; Step-son, Christian Oakes; 5 grand-children; many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2nd at 3:30pm at Holy Saviour Church in Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 1pm-3:30pm in Church. Burial will be private.
