Andrea M. Woodruff Curry, 72 of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania died Monday, May 18, 2026 at Riddle Hospital. Born in Chester to Russell and Anna Piasecki Woodruff, she was reared in Marcus Hook and educated in Chichester.
She worked as a custodian with the Chichester School District for over 25 years before her retirement in 2017. Her greatest joy came from raising her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as “Mom” to many children in addition to her own.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Edward Curry Jr., one daughter Andrea Curry, and William Edward Curry III. Also by siblings Maryanne, Franny, Crystal, Mamie, George and Ida.
She is survived by her children Brian Curry, Kelley Curry (Brett), Andrew Curry, Christina Frangione (Mike), Francis Curry, Brandy Curry (Mykle), and Ryan Curry; She is also survived by her brother William “Billy” Woodruff (Krista), 25 grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday May 27, 2026 at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Calling from 10-11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
