Paula D. Losak – 10/7/2023

Our beloved sister, aunt and great aunt, Paula Diane Losak passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023. Paula was born on October 22, 1947 in Upland, Pennsylvania. She attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from West Chester University with a degree in education.  She then completed a Master’s Degree in Reading from Temple University. Paula retired from the Chichester School District where she worked her entire teaching career. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling and going to the casino. But mostly, spending time with her family brought her the most joy, especially her numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was a loving, kind and generous sister, aunt and great aunt.  Paula will be sadly missed by her family, friends and her dog, JJ.   

 

Paula is survived by her sisters, Julie Losak Coyle, Frances Losak Hamilton (Art). Brothers, Joseph Losak (Sue), John Losak (Linda), and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is proceeded in death by her parents, Francis and Catherine Losak, sister, Catherine Losak Bischler Drey, brother, Michael Losak, brother-in-law, Lawrence J. Coyle and nephew, John Losak.  

 

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 10:30 AM with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. John Fisher church on Chichester Avenue in Boothwyn,  Pennsylvania. 

 

Donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. 

1. I am so saddened to hear of Paula’s passing. She was a dedicated teacher and President of the Chichester Teachers Association. May she rest in peace.
