Patrick Shawn Sculley, Sr., 40 years old of Trainer and Linwood Lower Chichester died January 2, 2009 at home in Trainer. Born in Ridley Park and raised in Linwood to Daniel T. and Bonnie R. Dodson Sculley, Patrick was a 1987 Graduate of Chichester High School.

He was a beloved son, father, brother, grandson, and uncle. He loved fishing, The eagles, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a special bond with his mother.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Daniel “Chick” Sculley, maternal grandparents H.C. and Marie Dodson, and his aunt, Betty Jo White.

He is survived by his parents Daniel T. and Bonnie R. Sculley, of Linwood. Loving father of Patrick Shawn Sculley, Jr. of Linwood, Daniel T. Sculley of Tabor City NC, Miranda Sculley of Tabor City NC, Cheyenne Kitts of Boothwyn PA, Chase Sculley of Wilmington DE, and Ashley Sculley of Wilmington DE, dear brother of Darryl (Adriana) Hurd of Wilmington DE, Kurt Hurd of Weatherly PA, and Danielle “Fats” (Donnie) Sculley Ellett of Boothwyn PA, beloved uncle of Stephanie Hurd, Heather Hurd, Derek Hurd, and Hannah Ellett; also survived by paternal grandmother Dorothy Aponiewicz of Wilmington, DE and 1 grandchild.

Family and friends are invited to his funeral service Wednesday 8:30pm and Thursday 10am, Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home. Inc., 1459 Market St., Linwood; viewing Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 9-10 am at the funeral home; burial Lawn Croft Cemetery.
