Marion C. Bailey (nee McGovern) 98 years old, passed away December 10, 2008 at Little Flower Manor. Born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Edward and Mary Ann Hendron McGovern, Mrs. Bailey was a graduate of Hallihan High School for Girls in Philadelphia.

She was employed by the Philadelphia Electric Co., Curtis Publishing Co., Frank Bailey Co, and the State of New Jersey. She was a member of St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Blue Anchor NJ and was a member of the Sodality. She was very devoted to her home, her family, and her church.

She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Mary Ann McGovern. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jane (Norman) Chartier, 4 grandchildren Anne, John, David, and Mary and 11 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to her funeral Mass 11am Saturday in Blessed John 23rd Catholic Church, 250 S. Route 73, Blue Anchor, NJ 08037; viewing at the church from 9:30am Saturday; burial Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
