Helen D. Brogley, 87, of Trainer passed away on Monday, March 24th at Naamans Creek Country Manor. She was born and raised in Chester Township. Helen was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Church in Chester and also Holy Saviour Church in Linwood, where she was active in the women’s club, the home and school association, and volunteering in the cafeteria. Helen was also a member of the ladies’ auxiliary of the Felton Hose and Chemical Company, and was an honorary member of the Delaware County Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed baking and was especially known for her Jewish Apple cakes. She enjoyed reading and cooking, and spent many hours volunteering in different capacities throughout the years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Brogley, Sr.; brothers, Vincent Broomall (Jean), and Emmanuel Broomall.
She is survived by her children, Charles Brogley, Jr., and Patricia Brogley; sister, Margaret Broomall; sister-in-law, Marlene Broomall.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 10:30am at St. John Fisher Church 4225 Chichester Ave. Upper Chichester, PA. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 9:30am-10:30am in Church. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
