Eleanor D. Argentine, 81, formerly of Marcus Hook died on Friday February 17, 2012 at Foulk Manor South Nursing Home. She was born in Marcus Hook to Angelo and Pauline Argentine. She worked as a bank teller for Fidelity for 35 years until her retirement in 1988.

Eleanor was a resident of Marcus Hook for most of her life. She was a long-time member of the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she volunteered in several capacities for many years. She enjoyed needle point, gardening and traveling, especially her trips to Italy and her many trips to the New Jersey Shore.

She was predeceased by her sister Mary B. Manerchia and her Brothers Louis Argentine and Albert Argentine. She is survived by her Sister Hilda DiCarlo of Brookhaven and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10am at the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marcus Hook. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood, Pa.
