Yolanda J. Gattone passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Claymont, DE. She was born, raised and educated in Marcus Hook where she lived most of her life until recently moving to Claymont with her daughter. Yolanda was a graduate of Media High School with the class of 1966. Yolanda was a loving care-giver to her family. She cared for her parents while they were sick and also helped to raise her grandchildren.
She enjoyed going to the casino, watching crime investigations shows and taking family trips. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
Yolanda is predeceased by her parents, Faust & Mabel Gattone. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Flowers; son-in-law, Nicodemos Neuwien; grandchildren, Sierra Flowers, Wesley Flowers, and Harper Neuwien. She is also survived by Lil Belknap, Linda Gattone and Rennie (Sue) Gattone, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Veronica, I’m so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was a terrific person and very protective of her family and Friends. You never wanted to get on her bad side! My thoughts and prayers will be for Yolanda and her family. May She rest in peace
I am so sorry for your loss. Yo was my best friend when we were kids we lived next
to each other walked to school together played house in my basement played kick the can told each other all our secrets.She was my best friend and will always hold special memories in my heart.Yo was a special soul.
