William E. Clausen, 79, of Linwood died on Tuesday, July 12th at Crozer Chester Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born in Camden, NJ to William and Theresa Clausen. He was reared and educated in the South West section of Philadelphia where he was a graduate of Bartram High School with the class of 1951. William was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan as well. What he enjoyed most, however, was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Clausen, who died in 2010. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Theresa Clausen of Linwood; His son, William E. Clausen Jr. and his wife Dawn of Sellersville, Pa; His Brother, Robert Clausen of Delaware; 2 grandchildren, Trey Clausen and Brooklyn Clausen.
His funeral service will be celebrated at 8pm on Monday evening, July 18 at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow on Wednesday, July 20 in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
