Wallace L. Evans – 8/8/2023

Wallace Lee Evans, 78, of Aston, Pa passed away on August 8th 2023 at Paoli Hospital.  He was born in Northampton County, VA to the late John and Margaret Evans.  Wallace was raised in Chester, PA and was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1963.  He worked for many years for the Sun Ship Drydock Company, Pennsylvania Shipyard, and finally Zenith until his retirement in 2010.

Wallace was a member of the NRA, Citizens Police Academy, and was a volunteer firefighter in Eddystone for many years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was also a history buff and an avid fan of Philadelphia sports.  What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by 18 siblings.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Willia Mae Evans; daughters, Rebecca Evans, Karyn Killinen (Larry), and Sharyn Coalson (Bill); grandchildren, Hunter Killinen, Rylee Killinen, Jared Coalson, Alexa Coalson, Justine Herrea; brother-in-law, James Walker; sister-in-law, Linda Walsh; many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 16th at 11am at the Bridge Church 1345 Market St. Linwood, PA 19061.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am at church.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the Bridge Church at the above address.

Poppy. you are Soo loved and will be missed. I will miss hearing your deep voice singing church hymns!! until we meet again. I know your with the Lord and he’s bless to have you.
