Vito A. “Andy” Alleva, 67 of Chester, died Saturday May 16, 2009 at home. Andy was born in Chester to Nicholas and Ida Shierra Alleva where he was reared and educated. He has been a lifelong resident of the city.

He was a graduate of St. James Catholic High School in Chester in the class of 1960. Andy was the health inspector for the city of Chester for the last 35 years where he was still employed.

A longtime member of the former St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Chester. He enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, watching golf and Harry Potter movies.

He is survived by his loving companion and Fiance Mary Dziobczynski and her daughter Natalie Dziobczynski both of Aston.

His funeral service will be 2pm Thursday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, where there will be calling from 12 to 2 pm. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood.
