Thomas L. Curl, 56, of Marcus Hook died Friday, September 23, 2011 at home. He was born in Chester to Robert and Margaret Maloney Curl, Sr. He was reared in Marcus Hook and graduated from St. James High School with the class of 1973. Tom went on to obtain a bachelor’s and master’s degree as well. He worked for several companies throughout his life including, DuPont, Boeing, Danneman’s Fabrics and Goodwill Industries. He was a long-time member of Holy Saviour Church in Linwood. Tom was also a 4th degree member of the Holy Saviour Council 13710 of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Viscose Firehouse. He enjoyed collecting coins.

He is survived by his daughter, Shana Curl of Boothwyn; Sons, Ryan Curl of Dover, DE and Nathan Curl of Colorado Springs, CO; Brother, Robert Curl, Jr. (Susan) of Marcus Hook; Sister, Barbara A. Bingnear (Daniel) of Aston; 2 Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 29 at 10:30am at Holy Saviour Church in Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday evening from 7pm-9pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa and again on Thursday morning from 9am-10am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
