Thomas J. Weiss, 57, of Upland died Sunday October 3rd at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to Howard J. and Susan E. Seracini Weiss DiScala. He was reared and educated in Chester, where he was a graduate of St. James High School. He was a former police officer in Trainer and worked for Federal Express for the last 2 years.

He was an avid fan of many sports including NASCAR racing, Football, hockey and baseball. He also enjoyed going to the casinos and liked to attend airshows.

He was predeceased by his Mother Susan E. DiScala; Step-Father, Anthony P. DiScala; Brother, Phillip DiScala. He is survived by 3 Sisters, Elizabeth Weiss of Philadelphia, PA, Lois Hicks of Levittown, PA and Kathleen Weiss of Upland, PA; 3 Brothers, Joseph Weiss of Philadelphia, Anthony S. DiScala of Upland and Joseph V. DiScala of Upland.

His Memorial Service will be 1pm Saturday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood where there will be calling from 12 to 1. Burial will be private.
