Theresa King-Burton, 60, formerly of Marshallton and North Wilmington passed away on February 24th, 2026 at Lankenau Hospital.  Theresa was a horse trainer in Florida for several years.  She also attended USC as a pre-med major before having to leave the program due to health reasons.  In addition, she was a competitive roller skater for several years where she competed in regional competitions.  Theresa was an animal lover, especially of her horse, Force Ten, and her dogs, Tiger, Sheba, Nicky and Bay.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Mary King; brother, John King.  She is survived by her long-time companion, Perry Sbraccia; several cousins.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10-11am.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the ASPCA.
