Devoted Wife, Mother and Businesswoman

Theresa C. Conte, 91, formerly of Boothwyn passed away Sunday, April 3rd at the Foulk Manor South Nursing Home. She was born in Boothwyn to John and Regina McQuillan. She was raised in Linwood Park and educated at Holy Saviour School. Theresa was a woman who was devoted to her home and family. After the passing of her husband, she owned and operated the family business, Chichester Cleaners, in Boothwyn for 21 years. She was a member of the Chichester Business Association, who in 1985 named her Business Person of the Year. She was also an active member of the Chichester Senior Citizens group and it was with that group that she explored her passion for traveling. She was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Marcus Hook and a member of the church choir.

What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family. Theresa is predeceased by her Husband, Ralph Conte, Sr.; Her Sons Ralph Conte, Jr. and Emilio Conte and an infant daughter. She is also predeceased by five brothers and six sisters.

Theresa is survived by 3 Sons, John Conte, Alfred Conte and Valentino Conte; 2 Daughters Andrea Rapposelli and Alberta Ferro; 18 Grandchildren; 28 Great-Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday April 9th at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and Family may call from 8:30am-10:30am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
