Susan M. Foster, 74, of Kennett Square, PA passed away on December 29th at Chester County Hospital. She was born in Chester, PA to the late Raymond and Christine Pierce. Susan was raised and educated in Chester and then later, Marcus Hook. She worked as a nursing assistant and caretaker for many years until her retirement. Susan loved singing and dancing. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Lee Foster; son, James Lee Foster; 12 siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn Buchanan (Andy), Betty Pierce-Garcia (Luis), and Sharon Foster (Oscar); grandchildren, Andrew, Crystle (Sean), Tina (Ryan), James (Becky), Diana (Carl), Juan, Cassandra, Jose, and Madalyn; great-grandchildren, Sean, Briella, Gianna, Brynlee, Sadie, and Juan, Jr.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Family and friends are invited to her viewing from 10-11am. Burial will follow in Grace Lawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
