Stephen Skippy Anderson (Stevie Raye), 43 years old, passed away suddenly at home in Chester, Monday, February 11, 2008 of natural causes. Born in Jefferson Hospital Philadelphia, he was raised in Chester Upland. He was a 1982 graduate of Chester High School.

He became a residential/commercial floor layer by trade for Rory Sherman Carpet Service of Delaware County. During his leisure he was an avid fisherman and skier and a pro wrestling enthusiaist, but was happiest when he was being a beach bum with his daughter, family, and friends every summer down the shore.

He was an amazing father to his daughter. He is survived by his daughter Alexis Anderson and former companion Debra Walker of Brookhaven, parents Marion “Andy” and Marie Anderson of Chester, siblings Cynthia Reeves of Linwood and Michael Anderson of Chester, brother in laws Bill, Gary, and Tony, nieces and nephews and he will be greatly missed by best friends and 2nd family DePrince and Talarico Families.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service 8:30pm Friday, with viewing 6:30 to 8:30pm Friday at Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home. Inc., 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Burial will be private.
