Shirley A. Speed, 61, formerly of Marcus Hook died Monday, April 16th, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was born in Baltimore City to Paul and Maryann Fritze. She was reared and educated in Lower Chichester, where she was a graduate of Chichester High School.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was predeceased by her husband, David Speed, who died in 2009. She is survived by 3 daughters, Paula Williams Masscotte, Peggy Williams Montgomery and Tammy Williams; Brothers, Paul D. Fritze, Sr. and Francis William Fritze, Sr.; grandchildren, Jesse Masscotte, David Miller, Andrew Masscotte, Taylor Montgomery, Howard Dennis, Cameron Mankovitch, Leah Dennis, Justin Montgomery and Shayla Montgomery.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25th at 2pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa 19061. Friends and family are invited to visit from 1pm-2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
