Shayla Rayne Montgomery

Shayla Rayne Montgomery, 18, of Marcus Hook passed away on Friday, June 21st, 2024.  She was born in Upland to Joseph A. Montgomery and Peggy Williams.  She was raised and attended school in Chichester.  Shayla was a loving and loyal person.  She loved spending time at the beach, and enjoyed participating in all kinds of outdoor activities.  Above all else, she loved spending time with her family especially her nephews.

She is predeceased by her sister, Taylor Montgomery; grandmothers, Kathy Kennedy, and Shirley Speed; grandfathers, Daniel Kennedy, and David Speed; uncles, Michael Montgomery and Richie Kennedy; aunt, Kristin Kennedy; brother-in-law, Joseph DiMatteo, Sr.; niece, Jolie Maze

She is survived by her parents, Joseph A. Montgomery, and Peggy Stout (David); siblings, Joseph R. Montgomery, David Miller, Jessica M. DiMatteo, Justin Montgomery (Carli); nephews, Joseph, Jacob, and Jagger; nieces, Makayla, Angelina, Rylee, Zoey, and Scarlett; partner, William Dostellio, III; many loving cousins including Arionna Montgomery, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28th at 1pm.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 12-1pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA.  Burial will be private.
