Sharon Lee Dyer Emmel of Earleville, MD passed away on January 16th, 2025 at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. Sharon was a graduate of Chichester High School. She was a past president of the ladies auxiliary of the Hall-Burke VFW. She worked for many years as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry.
Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Theresa McNeal Curry. She is survived by her husband, Bill Emmel; Daughter, Tami; grandchildren, Cameron, Jordan, and Hunter; great- grandchildren, Natalia, and Bryson; Brothers, Ted and James (Kim) Dyer; sister, Connie McCulley (Robert); many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10-11am. Inurnment will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.

Peace be with you Sharon I remember growing up in Gardendale with you.Funniest memory was when u bought my car after I graduated that had names of people spray painted all over it.Never thought it would sell lol Enjoy paradise my old friend.
