Rose Marie “Toots” Ditto, 95 of Linwood died Saturday December 26th, 2009 at Monticello House at Riddle Village in Media. Born to Antonio and Mary Yanni Ditto in New York, where she lived until the age of three when she moved with her family to Delco. She has lived in Linwood since 1919. She worked as a salesperson for Mark’s Dept. Store in Marcus Hook for more than 25 years.

A lifetime member of the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marcus Hook, she enjoyed Knitting and Crocheting articles for the Church’s Christmas bazaar every year.

In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her brother Samuel Ditto. Survived by her brother John Ditto with whom she made her home in Linwood. Three sisters Domenica Desper and Anna Gaspari both of Boothwyn and Jennie Palovitch of Christiana, PA. Also survived by nine nieces and nephews, thirteen great-nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8th and Green Sts., Marcus Hook. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery Upper Chichester. Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 Wednesday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood.
