Rose Marie Mancini Bonner, 79 of the Ogden section of Upper Chichester died Tuesday December 8, 2009 at home. Born to August and Catherine Marshall Mancini in Linwood, where she was reared and educated. She attended Holy Saviour Elementary School and Notre Dame High School in Moylan, graduating with the class of 1948. She has lived in Ogden for the last 53 years.
She was a woman who devoted her life to her home and family. A lifetime member of the Holy Saviour Catholic Church in Linwood, where she was active with the church’s woman’s club. What she enjoyed most was time spent with her grandchildren.
Wife of the late Michael F. {Mickey} Bonner, Sr. who died in 1987, she was also predeceased by two brothers James {Peachy} Mancini who died in 2005 and John {Jack} Mancini who died in August of this year.
Survived by two sons Michael J. Bonner, Jr., who makes his home with his mother in Ogden and Patrick J. Bonner of Wilmington, DE. One daughter Catherine M {Cathy} Curley also of Wilmington, DE. Two brothers Marshall Mancini of Linwood and David Mancini of Boothwyn. Two granddaughters.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Monday at Holy Saviour Catholic Church, Linwood. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Upper Chichester. Friends may call Sunday evening after 7pm and after 8:30 Monday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St, Linwood.
