Rose L. Bishop passed away December 10, 2007 at home in Wilmington.  Born and raised in Marcus Hook to the late Ermengrldo and Angelina DeVitis D’urbano. She has resided in Wilmington for the past 18 years, previously residing in Marcus Hook for most of her life.

She was employed by Buddies Hoagie Shop in Trainer for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, and avid card player and volunteered at Terry Apartments where she resided in Wilmington for many years as a receptionist.

She also enjoyed trips top the New Jersey Shore. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband John Bishop and her son Richard Bishop, also her parents, and siblings Dominic, Samuel, Anthony, James, Norman, and Julia.

She is survived by her children Barry Bishop of Marcus Hook, Karen Coulbourn of Chester and Ethel Graffus of Wilmington, DE. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service Thursday, 8:30pm in Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, calling at the funeral home from 7pm, burial private.
