Rosalia Sheftz, 81, of Lester, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 at Taylor Hospice. She was born to Thomas and Margaret McBride in Essington where she was raised and educated. She loved and valued her long career as an administrative assistant at Westinghouse. She was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was the rock of support for her family and devotedly took care of her mother in her last years of life. Rosalia was everyone’s favorite aunt because she was always full of smiles and fun. She is remembered for sitting at the kids table and laughing with them. She was loved and respected by all. She is now at home in paradise with God and her family. My sister, my mother, my everything, we will miss you deeply.

She was predeceased by her husband, Andy Sheftz; Nieces, Cathy Walsh, Christine Wanner, Rosalia Wanner and Frannie Walsh. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Walsh and MaryAnn Deery; Brother, Thomas F. McBride; Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 5th at 12pm at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church in Essington, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 11am-12pm in church. Burial will be private.
