Ron Kadyszewski, of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 at Christiana Care Wilmington Hospital in Wilmington Delaware.
Born on March 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Walter Kadyszewski and the late Helen Petrovich Kadyszewski. Ron grew up in Kulpmont, PA as the 9th of 12 children.
Ron graduated from Kulpmont High School, where he played on the football team, then enlisted as a Navy Electricians Mate, where he worked on electrical equipment on ships. Upon leaving the Navy, he went on to Penn State where he played Center on the football team and received his BS in Electrical Engineering, followed by his Masters in Electrical Engineering at Drexel. Later in his career, he was appointed as an adjunct professor of Electrical Engineering at Widener University.
Married to Janet R. (DeLellis) Kadyszewski of Mt. Carmel, PA, in 1962 and they spent 51 wonderful years together which included traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.
Ron spent the majority of his career working for Boeing Aircraft, where he helped design rotary aircraft electrical components on the HRB-1 helicopter, which became the CH-46 Sea Knight, the YHC1B helicopter, which became the CH-47 Chinook, and the groundbreaking tilt rotor V-22 Osprey.
He was also a founding member of St. John Fisher Church where he actively participated in many parish activities including being a long time Usher, and achieved the highest Grand Knight status in the Knights of Columbus Holy Savior Council Chapter #13710.
Ron is survived by his sister Agatha Konieczynski and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited, on Monday, October 27, 2025 to his Visitation at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA, 19061 followed by internment at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glenn Mills, PA, 19342.

Sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Such a sweet spirited person who will be missed by many whose lives he touched.

ron what a privlidge it was knowng you and being a 4th degree knight with you i looked forwarded to being with you at our knight meetings and sharing donuts with you at hospitality sunday also looked forwar d ed to christmas when you gave your homemade wine that was good you will be missed and now you are with janet god bless
