Robert J. Black, 65, of Aston passed away on December 24th, 2025.  He was born and raised in Chester, PA.  Robert was a graduate of Chester High School.  He worked for many years for the Alloy Surfaces Company.  He enjoyed fishing and cooking.  He also loved to spend time with family and friends hosting barbeques.

He was predeceased by his father, Harry Black; step-daughter, Tara Brooks.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Louise Black; step-children, Lisa Serluco, and James Brooks, Jr.; mother, Margaret Black; siblings, William Black, Harry Black, and Sandy Melvin; 6 step-grandchildren; his beloved dog, Bella.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2nd at 11am at the Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa.  Friends and family are invited to his viewing from 10-11am.  Burial will be private.
