Robert C. Slawter, 60, of Linwood, Pa died on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was born in Chester to William and Margaret Slawter. He was reared and educated in Linwood where he was a life-long resident. Robert graduated from Chichester High School with the class of 1969.

He worked as a roofer for Larry Campbell Roofing and Siding for 25 years. He also worked for Comcast for 13 years. He was an avid fan of both the Phillies and Eagles. He coached little league baseball and was known for his great sense of humor. Robert also enjoyed hunting. What he enjoyed most, however, was watching his children play sports.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Slawter; Daughter, Stephanie Marchesani (Philip); Son, Robert Slawter (Stephanie); Grandson, Carmine Slawter; Brother William Slawter.

His funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14th at 10AM at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa. Friends and family are invited to call from 9am-10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
