Richard E. Robbins, 79, of Media PA passed away on October 27th, 2025 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. He was born and raised in Chester to the late Lawrence and Margaret Robbins. Richard was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1964. He worked for many years as a machinist for Boeing until his retirement.
Richard was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He also cherished his weekly lunches with his friends and time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Lenny Robbins. He is survived by Lawrence and Jennifer Robbins, Barbara Zadorzany, and many nieces and nephews.
His memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th at 1pm. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 12pm-1pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, Pa. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation at NKF Serving Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey | National Kidney Foundation
I’ve known Rich for many years and he was a member of our West End breakfast get togethers. Really good guy with a great sense of humor. I’m really going to miss him and his brown gravy that he always shared with me. Wink nod Buddy.
