Phillip Henry Profitt – Born September 24, 1940, died comfortably days before his 81^st  birthday.  He was born in Trainer, to Ernest S. and Marth A. Proffit and was one of 14 children.

Phillip went to Chichester schools and then went into the Merchant Marines, after which he became a contractor and eventually worked at Allied Chemicals.

Phillip was an avid hunter, bow and rifle, and a member of the Del Chester hunting club; he regularly hunted with his two sons Phil and Robert.  He was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, wood carvings and played the guitar.  Other interests included working on cars and motorcycles which he loved to ride.

Phillip is survived by his 4 children, Doreen (Ross) Dworkin, Phil, Robert, Michael & Joseph Profit as well as 2 step-daughters Tony Fazzio and Renee Quiles, 2 grandchildren Zachary Dworkin and Erica Dworkin Sensor, and 2 great grand-children plus several nieces and nephews..

His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29^th at 11:00AM at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral home 1459 Market St. Linwood PA.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am.  Burial will be private.
