Phillip H. Profitt – 9/20/2021

Phillip Henry Profitt – Born September 24, 1940, died comfortably days before his 81st  birthday.  He was born in Trainer, to Ernest S. and Marth A. Proffit and was one of 14 children.

Phillip went to Chichester schools and then went into the Merchant Marines, after which he became a contractor and eventually worked at Allied Chemicals.

Phillip was an avid hunter, bow and rifle, and a member of the Del Chester hunting club; he regularly hunted with his two sons Phil and Robert.  He was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, wood carvings and played the guitar.  Other interests included working on cars and motorcycles which he loved to ride.

Phillip is survived by his 4 children, Doreen (Ross) Dworkin, Phil, Robert, Michael & Joseph Profit as well as 2 step-daughters Tony Fazzio and Renee Quiles, 2 grandchildren Zachary Dworkin and Erica Dworkin Sensor, and 2 great grand-children plus several nieces and nephews..

His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 11:00AM at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral home 1459 Market St. Linwood PA.  Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am.  Burial will be private.

  1. Phil was a great guy and we had a lot of good times back in the 50s. Am glad to know he had a fulfilling life and know he will be greatly missed.

Uncle Phil was my mentor when I was Young he show me how to change wheel bearings in oil on my cars gave me some jobs to do so I can make some money a lot of mental support he always looked out for his sisters and family he was really a tough guy also not to be messed with and I love and I will definitely miss you Uncle Phil until we meet again and my best of all his immediate family
