Patrick M. Charles, Jr., 80, of Glenolden passed away on June 7th, 2016 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. He was born in Chester to Patrick and Mary Taylor Charles. He was raised and educated in Morton.

Pat was a veteran of the US Army with whom he served during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for Westover builders for over 30 years until his retirement. After retiring , he moved to Woolwine VA, where he was a member of the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Pat loved outdoor activities, woodworking, making wine and his beloved dog, Sadie.

He was predeceased by his Brothers, Maurice, Paul, Robert, and James Charles; Sisters, Patricia and Mary Charles; ex-wife, Marie Charles. He is survived by his Daughters, Tina Shuter (John) and Mary Petty (Mark); Grandchildren, Holly, JD, Kalina, Buddy, Will, Taylor and Marina; great-grandchildren, Faith, Alaina, Emma and Tessa.

His memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11 at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am. Burial will be private.
