Patricia I. Hendricks Sherman, 65 of Parkside, Pa. formerly of Upland died Tuesday November 10, 2009 at home. She was born in Danville, Pa. to Raymond and Isabelle Farley Hendricks before moving to Chester where she was reared and educated. She lived in Upland for 30 years before moving to Parkside two months ago.

She was a woman who devoted her life to her home and family. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was the wife of the late Robert “Alfie” Sherman who died in 1994.

Survived by three brothers, Donald Hendricks of Kansas, Raymond Hendricks of Philadelphia and Joseph Hendricks of Chester. She is also survived by her friend Lorraine Bennett who cared for her and also made her home with Patricia in Parkside. Many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kathryn Moulton, Marylou Poole and Arthur “Butch” Hendricks.

Her funeral service will be 11am Monday at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, where there will be calling from 10 to 11. Burial will be private.
