Norman T. Brown

Norman T. Brown, 82, formerly of Boothwyn died on Sunday, March 10th, 2013 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Samuel and Nora Brown. He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School with the class of 1949 and later went on to graduate from Widener University in 1976. Norm worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Borrough’s Corporation, and Mannington Mills until his retirement in 1993.

He was a long-time member of St. John Fisher Church where he was active in many church activities. He volunteered as a boy scout leader, a coach for the Chichester Crusaders and Chichester Baseball League and was also active on both the Holy Saviour and St. James PTA. He was a member and past president of both St. John’s on the Hill and Chichester Senior Citizen’s groups.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Brown (2011) and his son, Edward Brown (1989). He is survived by his son Bill Brown (Jeanne) of Avondale, Daughter, Joan DiObilda of West Chester; Son, Francis Brown (Tami) of Connecticut; Brother Donald Brown and Sister, Sandy Brown.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 14th at 11am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30-11am in church. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
