Norman D. Chance, Sr., 76, of Linwood, PA passed away on Friday, March 21st, 2014 at his home. He was born in Chester to the Late Joseph and Hilda Chance. He was raised and educated in Lower Chichester where he was a graduate of Chichester High School. Norman was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He owned and operated Norman’s Locksmithing for many years. Norman was a published author of the book series “Who was Who on TV.” He also enjoyed gardening.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Chance, in 2007. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Stanley, Joseph and Donald Chance. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Hutchinson and Robin Nied; Son, Norman Chance, Jr.; Step-daughters, Bonnie Kemper and Karen Bowyer; Sister, Peggy Joyce and brother, James Chance; 8 grandchildren.

His funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 25th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery.
