Norma Thompson,80, formerly of Marcus Hook passed away on May 28^th at Fair Acres Geriatric Center as a result of complications of Covid-19.  Norma was raised and educated in Chester where she attended St. Michael’s School and Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA.  Norma was a woman who was dedicated to her home and family.  She spent many years as a volunteer at the Delco-Blind Sight Center. She enjoyed taking vacations to the beach, playing bingo, card games and board games.  Norma was a good cook who took special pride in her spaghetti dinners she prepared for her late husband and his friends before their fishing trips.  She also had a soft spot for animals, and was known to take in animals for people who could not care for them.

She was predeceased by her Husband, Vernon Thompson; parents, Harry and Mary Richardson; sister, Jane Bumgarner; daughter, Geraldine Shaw.

She is survived by her children, William Thompson and Janet Galligan; 2 grandsons.  He services and burial were private.  Donations in her name can be made to the Friends of Fair Acres Program 340 Middletown Rd. Lima, PA 19037.
