Muriel T. Babe, 89, of Boothwyn died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born to William and Ethel Meredith in Boothwyn, where she was reared and educated. She was a graduate with the first graduating class of Boothwyn High School in 1939. She was a woman who was dedicated to her home and family. She was a charter member of the Reform Presbyterian church in Boothwyn, where she was an active member in all church activities.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Babe, who died in 1993. She is survived by Her Daughter, Paula Williams and her husband Daniel of Media; Her Son, Gary Babe and his wife Michelle of Boothwyn; 2 sisters, Ruth Meredith and Mildred Leake; 4 Grandchildren, Daniele Harp and her husband Patrick, Paul Williams, Tara Babe and Nathan Babe.

Her funeral service will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 27th at the Reform Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Bethel Twp.
