Milissa M. Hess was born February 2nd , 1967 (57). She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 20th , 2024, in Milford DE. Milissa grew up in Marcus Hook PA and graduated from Chichester High school with the class of 1985. Soon after, she moved to Wilmington DE and was a stay-at-home mother. She was a free spirit. She loved listening to music, writing, and drawing. She was predeceased by her partner, Joe Catania; son, Matthew Hess; brother, Charles Cox. She is survived by her parents, Patricia and William Cox; daughters, Valerie Hall, Melinda Stief, Abigail Catania; sons, Frank Hess jr. and Jeremy Hess. She was also survived by her six grandchildren, Mariah, Alexis, Lila, Theo, Adrian, and Jaxton.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at 12:00 pm at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 11:00-12:00. Burial will be private.

I will miss the opportunity to spend time with Milissa. I only knew her for a short while. I know one thing for sure. She knows how to love ❤️ someone else. A deep love ❤️ that I never witnessed before. She is in paradise now. And someday I will see here again to refresh my spirit that way. I sincerely thank the Cantania family for allowing me to be part of their family on this journey 🙏. May the love ❤️ they all have continually grow ❤️.
