Mildred L. Scone, 88 years On the evening of October 20, 2008 left this earth to be with those she loved who went before her in St. Peter’s Hospital new Brunswick, NJ. Her husband Charles O. Scone, her parents James and Edith Breeding, two sisters Pauline Poole and Josephine Burke, and two brothers Clifford Breeding and Louis Breading and a grandson Alan T. James.
Born August 13, 1920 in Hickman DE, she resided in North Brunswick since 1998, residing in Linwood section of Lower Chichester for most of her life. She was employed as a purchasing agent/clerk for Baldwin Lima Hamilton who built Locomotive’s from 1942 til 1972, and then worked in the Probate of Wills Department of the Delaware County Courthouse Media PA retiring in 1985 to look after her mother.
She will be sadly missed by those she leaves behind, her daughter Carol L. James, grandchildren, Karen L., Craig M., Brian K., and Jenny L., and her great granddaughter Breanna L., and nieces Sandra Onley, Nancy Cloud, Bonnie Winward, Lois Brown, Linda Kiesel, and nephews Cliff Breeding, Robert Burke and their families.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing 10-11am and funeral service 11am Saturday at Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home. Inc., 1459 Market St., Linwood PA with burial following in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
