Michael J. Ciancia “Chick”, 55, of Upland passed away suddenly on November 20th, 2020. Michael was born and raised in Upland and attended the Chester Upland Schools. He was a painter with various subcontractors over the years.
Chick was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles. He also enjoyed music, especially Aerosmith and VanHalen. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Ciancia, Sr.; brother, Thomas Ciancia, Jr. (2017); sister, Jennifer Ciancia (2012); step-father, Leroy Richardson (2020).
He is survived by his mother, Josephine Richardson; brother, David Ciancia; daughter, Chelsea Ciancia; grandchildren, Lincoln and Ruby Doris; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral services and burial are private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
