Matilda M. Sheeky, 94, formerly of Boothwyn, died Thursday March 10, 2011 at the Camden County Health Services Center in Blackwood, NJ. She was born in Philadelphia to William and Mary Cooke. She was reared and educated in the Linwood Park section of Upper Chichester, where she attended Holy Saviour School. Later, she went on to earn a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse for many years at both Sacred Heart and Crozer Hospitals in Chester.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. What she enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her Husband, Terrence Sheeky in 2004; Her Daughter, Frances Lieberman in 1963; 1 Sister and 6 Brothers.

She is survived by 4 Sons, Terrence Sheeky Jr. (Beverly), Patrick Sheeky (Lorraine), James Sheeky (Dale) and Michael Sheeky; 1 Son-in-Law, Charles Lieberman (Betty Rose); 1 Brother, Robert Cooke (Ethel); 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be celebrated at 11:30am on Friday, March 18 at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, Pa 19061. Friends and family may call from 10:30-11:30 at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood.
