Mary J. Gallihue Sinnott, 81, of the Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester died Saturday July 24, 2010 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Lima. Born in Paoli to James Lee and Mary E. Lyttle Gallihue she was reared and educated in Gladwyn and attended Lower Merion High School graduating with the class of 1946. She has lived in Boothwyn for 48 years.

She was a woman devoted to her home and family. Mary also worked for the E&M Luncheonette in Boothwyn for 25 years. An active member of the Red Hat Society she also enjoyed sewing pillow cases to benefit children with cancer.

She was predeceased by her son Jack Sinnott who died in 1974. Survived by Two sons Stephen R. Sinnott of Drexel Hill and Richard J. Sinnott of Boothwyn. One daughter Suzanne R. Lambert of Virginia Beach, VA. One sister Jeannette Mestichelli of Broomall. Two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Her funeral service will be 8pm Wednesday evening at the Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood where there will be calling from 6:30 to 8. Burial will be private.
