Mary Ann Sciecinski passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Pocopson Home, West Chester, PA.

She was born May 19, 1926 to Michael and Josephine Suchomajcz (Racilla) in Shamokin, PA.  She was a member of a large family with twelve brothers and sisters. Moved to Chester, PA and then to Twin Oaks, PA where she raised her family. She was a member of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Chester, PA, and later was a parishioner at St. John Fisher, Boothwyn, PA.

Early in her life, she worked in garment district in NYC as a seamstress. Later, she worked in the retail industry in Delaware County.  She spent most of her years as  a homemaker, raising her four sons.

She enjoyed being with her family, watching and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening.  She was a fabulous cook.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Frank A. Sciecinski, a son, Joseph, who died at birth.

She is survived by her sons, Frank A. Sciecinski (Shelly Thomas), David  Sciecinsk;  James Sciecinski (Janet) and Paul Sciecinski (Donna).

Grandchildren: Amy Roth (William), Derek Sciecinski (Stephanie), Kate Sciecinski, Alexander Sciecinski (Marlena), Michael Norman, Aericka Joan, Tori Villagrana (Raul), Ashley Stout, Chris Sciecinski (Katie Krick).

Great grandchildren:  Gavin, Katelyn, Owen, Mia, Ruby, Savannah, Chloe, Gabriella, Liliana, Rylie Jo, Paisley, Everly and Dominic.

Interment will be private in Elysburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL  60601.
