Marion L. (Gill) Barr, 84, formerly of Boothwyn passed away on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at Brinton Manor Nursing Home. She was born at home in Boothwyn to the late Harry and Margaret Gill. She was raised and educated in Boothwyn where she earned her secondary diploma at the age of 37.

Marion was a woman who was dedicated to her home and family. She enjoyed taking day trips as well as vacationing in Ocean City, Md. with her family.

She was predeceased by her Brother, Harry Gill, Jr. and her sister, Margie Bodley. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alfred A. Barr of Glen Mills; Son, Alan Barr and his wife, Lily Cai of New York, NY; a niece and several nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home, 1459 Market St., Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
